LaGrange Police have arrested two females and are looking to identify a pair of males after they allegedly attacked a woman on Mulberry Street in LaGrange.
Monday night about 7:30 p.m., officers with the La-Grange Police Department responded to the area of Mulberry Street near Peters Street in reference to reports of a fight in progress.
Officers arrived and made contact with the female victim, who had numerous cuts or stab wounds to her head and body.
The victim advised she had been attacked by four subjects, two females and two males. The victim explained that one of the females had what appeared to be a small knife.
After some investigation, police were able to identify the two females involved in the incident as Timerley Paulette Mellon and a 15year-old juvenile.
Police later located and made contact with Mellon and the juvenile. Mellon was subsequently arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The female juvenile, whose name is not being released due to her age, was charged with Battery.
Mellon is currently being held at the Troup County Jail where she was denied bond.
Police say further arrests are expected pending the identification of the two males that were allegedly involved.
