LaGrange Police are investigating an incident where a local teen was allegedly robbed at gunpoint over the weekend.
Sunday evening about 5:19 p.m., officers with the La-Grange Police Department responded to Murphy Avenue near Fourth Avenue in reference to reports of an armed robbery.
Police arrived and made contact with the 17-year-old victim who stated he had been robbed at gunpoint while walking near the Callaway Memorial Clock Tower. The male victim stated he was approached by two subjects known to him, who brandished a firearm and stole undisclosed items from his pockets. After taking the items, the assailants fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim also fled the area and later contacted police. The victim advised the incident occurred about and hour prior to police arrival.
Police have identified two suspects in this case, but as of press time no arrests have been made.
This incident is still under investigation by the LaGrange Police Department Criminal Investigation Section.
