The member organizations of the West Georgia Veterans Council will hold their annual Ceremony in recognition of Veterans Day 2016 on Friday, November 11, 2016.
Everyone is invited to be a part of this Veteran Day Ceremony at the Troup County Veterans Memorial at 11:00 am on Friday, November 11th. The Ceremony is expected to last from 30 to 45 minutes. It will include a welcome, presentation of the Colors, group singing, a brief message by Jerald L. Craig, LtCol (Ret.) USAF, Sr. Aerospace Science Inst. Callaway HighAFJROTC, the laying of a reef, pray and closing.
If you have not yet visited the Troup County Veterans Memorial, it is located at the Troup County Government Center. As you enter the driveway off Ridley Avenue into the Troup County parking deck, you will see the Troup County Veterans Memorial on your left between the old Court House and the parking deck.
The member organizations of the West Georgia Veterans Council are American Legion, Post 75, Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 31, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4629, Military Officers Association of America, Lafayette Chapter, and the PFC George Eiland Detachment 1040, Marine Corps League Detachment here in LaGrange.
