• December 8–10: A Christmas Carol. This Christmas Carol goes beyond other adaptations with Charles Dickens himself being introduced to the audience. The story unfolds behind him, and soon Dickens is weaving in and out of the action, observing, performing small roles, interpolating short passages of rich narrative never heard in other versions. • December 9th: Please join us in LaGrange on Friday for our monthly dance at our new location in The Active Life Wellness Center at 140 Ragland Street (off LaFayette Parkway, near the mall) from 8:00 pm – 10:15 pm. The Mike Skipper Band will be playing for us. Attire: dressy. Admission is $20 per couple. Pot luck nibbles are welcome – not mandatory. • December 9-10, 16-17, 23-24: Follow The Shepherds Walks. Walks are ongoing, with the first one at 6 pm. Follow the journey of Joseph and Mary as they travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem and learn new insights into the Christmas story. These evening walks can be done in conjunction with the Christmas multi-media presentation. • December 10th: Twin Cedars Youth and Family Services, Inc. will host their Darkness to Light Program on December 10 and 17, from 9-11:30 am, at the Coleman Community Center. This is an educational program that promotes moving the topic of child sexual abuse from being shrouded in fear and denial to becoming a topic that is discussed openly by adults who are putting in place policies and procedures that protect children. • December 11th: You are invited to the LaGrange Woman’s Club ChristmasTea on Sunday, December 11th from 2 to,4 pm at Bellevue, 204 Ben Hill Street, LaGrange, Georgia.The cost is $20 per person. Call Bellevue at 706-884-1832 to make reservations. All proceeds go for the upkeep of Bellevue.

• December 17, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Hills & Dales Children’s Christmas Celebration. Children can create their own gingerbread house and Christmas ornaments. One of the ornament designs will have a 100th anniversary theme. There will also be a Christmas sing-a-long, story time and visits with Santa. • Now – December 26, 10:00AM – 5:00PM: Hills & Dales Holidays. The Callaway home will be decorated for Christmas using all fresh greens with the Christmas tree specially styled circa 1916. A wonderful scaled gingerbread house replicating the Neel Reid designed Callaway home will be on display in the Palm Room. • Every Tuesday: LaGrange Lions Club meets every Tuesday at noon at the Highland Country Club. We would love for anyone to come out and see what we are all about. We are always looking for new members!

• Every Tuesday & Wednesday: No matter what your problem with food- compulsive undereating, overeating, undereating, food addiction, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, purging by vomiting or laxative use, or overexercising.
