Troup County Sheriff James Woodruff presented information involving the actions and activities of the Sheriff’s Department. The presentation included citizens’ awareness of scams, criminal activities, interaction with our schools, and a request for support for upcoming legislative actions that could bring much needed salary relief for the Sheriff’s staff.
‘We have a huge investment in training and experience in our staff.’ The Sheriff’s Department is very active and involved in the community and we appreciate Sheriff Woodruff and his staff for their service.

The LaGrange Kiwanis Club meets at the Highland Country Club every Thursday at noon.
Their goal is to serve the children of LaGrange and Troup County ‘one child and one community at a time’.
