Valentine’s Not So Sweet For Local Couple

On Valentine’s Day night while most folks were out with their wives and sweethearts, local police were investigating a disturbance between two lovebirds in a relationship that had apparently soured.

Tuesday night about 9:30 p.m., officers with the La-Grange Police Department responded to the 700 block of DeGroat Street in reference to a domestic dispute.

Police say further investigation into the incident revealed that Randall Allen, of LaGrange, assaulted his live-in girlfriend and forcibly took her cell phone.

Allen fled the scene prior to police arriving and took the black Family Mobile LG K7 cell phone with him.

LaGrange Police have officially listed Allen as a suspect for the Robbery and Aggravated Assault.

This incident is still under investigation by the LaGrange Police Department Criminal Investigations Section.
