Troup County 4-H’ers who have shown outstanding participation and leadership by participating in DPA and judging teams joined youth from all over the state at 4-H Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, February 8, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Youth had the opportunity to tour Georgia’s Capitol, see the General Assembly in session, and meet Representative Randy Nix. After exploring the capital, the day concluded with a trip to The Carter Center. The purpose of this activity was to promote citizenship and civic engagement in our youth. Congratulations to our students who earned the privilege of attending this event.
