Indecent Exposure Reported Outside Supermarket

LaGrange Police recently received a report from a female victim alleging that a male exposed himself to her outside a local supermarket.

Wednesday afternoon about 12:10 p.m., officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to the Publix supermarket on Commerce Avenue in reference to Indecent Exposure.

Officers arrived and spoke to the female victim, who stated exited her vehicle and began removing items from her car. While doing so, an unknown white male then drove up next to her and complemented her physical appearance.

The female stated she then thanked the subject for the compliment and then continued removing her items from the vehicle. She stated the unknown subject then asked where the nearest Piggly Wiggly was located while her back was turned. She then turned around to provide the subject with directions and noticed he had exposed his genitals to her.

The victim then entered the Publix and informed the manager and the male subject fled the area in an unknown direction.

The victim stated the subject was driving a white truck with a large ladder stored on the vehicle, but she did not see the tag number.

Police attempted to review security video, but there were no cameras on the area where the incident occurred.

The victim advised she wanted to the incident to be documented, but she was not interested in pursuing any charges.
