Deputies Bust Hogansville Drug Dealer

Troup County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested an alleged drug dealer after an investigation into illegal narcotics in Hogansville.

As a result of the investigation, Drug Agents with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office were able to secure a search warrant for a location in the 100 block of Boozer Street in Hogansville.

About 8:35 p.m. on May 23, Troup County Sheriff’s Office Drug Agents along with the assistance of Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division and the Hogansville Police Department executed the search warrant.

After conducting the search, Mario Kavinique Blalock was found to be in possession of an undisclosed amount of marijuana, which drug investigators believe he intended to continue to distribute.

As a result, Blalock, age 34, was arrested and transported to the Troup County Sheriff’s Office where he wasbookedintothejailcharged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and four warrants for Sale of Marijuana.

Blalock is currently being held at the Troup County Jail on $50,000 bond.
