West Point Police are investigating their second shooting in less than a month after male was shot Sunday afternoon in the West Point Housing Authority.
Sunday about 4 p.m., officers with the West Point Police Department responded to the 1200 block of East 12th Street upon reports of a another subject being shot.
Officers arrived and found the victim, who was transported to trauma center at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta for emergency treatment. The undisclosed victim is reportedly still at the hospital where he is currently being treated for injuries sustained during this incident.
So far, police have not released any information on any potential suspect(s).
This incident is still under active investigation by criminal investigators at the West Point Police Department and they are asking for help from anyone who may have information on the shooting.
