Nickell Rentals Hosts Ribbon Cutting

November is shaping up to be quite the busy month for the LaGrange/Troup County Chamber of Commerce. Already this month, there have been new businesses opening up shop and businesses celebrating their openings with ribbon cuttings held by the Chamber. Many businesses in the area find great success and an incredible branch of networking opportunities with the local Chamber of Commerce and this past Thursday afternoon, November 2nd, another of those businesses made their statement by holding one of these ribbon cuttings. That business was Nickell Rentals, located at 1902 Roanoke Road.

In 1967, Nickell Rentals began when Wayne Stringer opened his first store in Jacksonville, Florida and eventually joined forces with his son in law, Tom Nickell. The business continued to grow and Tom eventually made the decision that, after years of acting as a regional manager for a large national tool rental chain, to return to owning his own rental company. In 2000, Nickell expanded into the southeast Atlanta market and the business continued to grow and thrive. Now, Nickell Rentals has found their way to LaGrange and Troup County.

Nickell Rentals is your one stop shop for rental tools and equipment as well buying everything that you or your team needs for that next big project. They carry many different kinds of tools and they carry many different brands such as Bobcat, Subaru, and many, many others. They are an authorized dealer for many top compact equipment brands and have been for over 10 years. From projects around the house to large, more commercial projects, Nickell can handle it all.

This ribbon cutting is the first for the Chamber in a month of many ribbon cuttings. Business is booming as the holiday seasons approach and the local economy is looking to do well this Christmas. The importance of buying local and staying local cannot be stressed enough and thanks to your local Chamber of Commerce, LaGrange and Troup County continue to be the place for new businesses to arrive and existing businesses to continue to expand.
