Pure Life Studios to Host Nationally-Known Performers in July

Pure Life Studios in La-Grange will host three separate nationally-known acts starting Saturday, July 14th. Performers include singer Diane Durrett on Saturday followed by Matthew Sabatella on Monday, the 23rd, and Stevie Tombstone on the 27th. These nationally-renowned talents will showcase their skills at Pure Life Studios throughout the month of July. Troup County News will be interviewing all artists prior to their shows for a special three-part interview series.

Maggie McDonald, owner of Pure Life Studios, called the organization a “true listening room featuring hidden treasures to legendary singer/songwriters and their original works.” True to its name, the company brings Diane Durrett to LaGrange on Saturday. Durrett, a vocalist known for her raw and sultry style, has performed with worldwide legends Sting, Gregg Allman, Chuck Leavell of the Rolling Stones, Peter Stroud, and the Indigo Girls. She has opened shows for national icons Tina Turner and Faith Hill.

Matthew Sabatella is the second performer to be brought in by Pure Life Studios for the month of July. Sabatella seeks to educate audiences by taking them on a journey of America’s musical history, starting with music from the colonial era and ending with early rock-n-roll.

The final act hosted by Pure Life Studios this month is Georgia-native Stevie Tombstone. Tombstone has led the Atlanta-based rock band “The Tombstones” since the 1980s. Now a solo act, Tombstone boasts an impressive three-decade career that has seen the release of five studio albums.

Pure Life Studios is located in LaGrange and boasts a “Southern-charmed” atmosphere. Shows start at 7:30 PM with doors opening at 6:30 PM. Follow Troup County News for upcoming interviews with these famous performers.
