LaGrange Police are investigating a late-night incident where gunshots were fired into an occupied residence in the Lee’s Crossing area.
Early Saturday morning about 2 a.m., officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to the Lee’s Crossing Apartments on Old Airport Road in reference to shots fired into a residence.
Officers arrived and spoke to the two female victims, who advised that they were inside their home when they heard approximately three gun shots from outside. One of the gunshots was fired through a bedroom window in their apartment and another shot went through a sliding glass door.
The gunshots reportedly occurred around 1:50 a.m. Officers were later able to locate three shell casings in the area.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
This incident is still under active investigation by the LaGrange Police Department Criminal Investigation Section.
