Mary Kelley Foster, of LaGrange, GA., passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at Hospice LaGrange. Mary was born August 9, 1924 in Brooks, GA., the daughter of the late William Rufus Kelley, Rosa Jones Kelley and step-mother Elizabeth Borders Kelley. Mrs. Foster moved to LaGrange, GA, in 1942 and was an employee of Callaway Mills for 25 years. During WWII, she was employed at Bill Aircraft in Marietta, GA., supporting the war effort by helping build B-29 Bombers (Rosie the Riveter). After 25 years, Mrs. Foster retired in 1989 as a Nurse from West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Foster was an active member of Western Heights Baptist Church for many years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Morgan Foster, one son, Stanley Morgan Foster, Sr., six brothers, Rufus, Thad, J.B., Billie, Gene and Nathaniel Kelley and one sister, Alice Jones. Survivors include two sons, David E. Foster and Robert (Bob) K. Foster, one daughter, Frances Rose Smith and husband Mark of Cataula, GA., one daughter in-law, Deloris Foster of Cumming, GA, four grandchildren, Stanley Morgan Foster, Jr. and wife, Marianne of Cusseta, AL., Phillip Smith and Amelia Smith of Cataula, GA, two great-grandsons, Johnathan and Thomas Foster of Cusseta, AL., three sisters, Nina Spruill of LaGrange, Dorothy Baker of Cooks Springs, AL., Sue Kilgore and husband Lebus of Griffin, GA., two sister in-laws, Shirley Kelley of Murray, KY., and Fran Kelley of Newnan, GA., as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Western Heights Baptist Church. Funeral Services immediately followed at 1:30 pm. Rev. Greg Brown officiated.
