Mossy Caldwell

Mrs. Mossy Caldwell, age 60, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at her home. A lifelong resident of Troup County, Mrs. Caldwell was born September 19, 1955, and was a homemaker. Among her survivors are her husband Terry (Kap) Caldwell of LaGrange; and her mother, Edna Anderson of Woodlands, TX. A memorial service was conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 25, at her home at 3218 Hamilton Road in La-Grange. The family received friends at home following the service. Mr. Steven H. Hockmuth

Mr. Steven Howard Hockmuth, age 64, of Hogansville, passed away March 15, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Hockmuth was born January 12, 1952, in Rockford, Illinois, son of the late Howard Frederick Hockmuth and Katherine Pollock Hockmuth. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he lived in Wisconsin for a number of years before making his home in Hogansville. He had been employed as a federal police officer. Survivors include his sons, Sean Hockmuth, Steven Hockmuth, and Jason Hockmuth; fiancée, Alberta Peters; sisters, Tammy Hockmuth-Klewer and Debra Hockmuth-Ree; two granddaughters; and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Hockmuth. A memorial service was conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, at City Lights Church in La-Grange. Michael (Mike) E. Jimmerson

Michael E. Jimmerson, age 56, of Woodbury, GA died Monday, March 28, 2016 at Cancer Treatment Center of America, Newnan. GA. The Celebration of Life Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 3, 2016 in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity Baptist Church in Manchester. Mr. Jimmerson was born March 29, 1959 in Thomaston, GA the son of Milton and Sara Ellerbee Jimmerson. He was an electrician for JCG Foods formerly Cagle’s in Pine Mountain Valley. He was Baptist by faith and loved everything outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish and racing. Michael loved all of his family and friends. He is survived by an aunt and uncle Alvin and Eleanor Jimmerson and many other cousins and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in memory of Michael E. Jimmerson to the Cancer Treatment Center of American 600 Parkway North Newnan, GA 30265.

Jerry Franklin Fowler, Sr.

Mr. Jerry Franklin Fowler, Sr., age 69, of Pine Mountain, passed away on March 23, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Fowler was born on February 27, 1947 in Sugar Hill, Georgia to the late Diamont Coyt Fowler and Ruby Inez Roberts Fowler. He was a Mechanic for Cagles and deeply loved and cared for his family. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home. Rev. Bryan Geter officiated. Interment followed at the Pine Mountain Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Bowen Fowler; son, Jerry Franklin Fowler, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Buford.; daughter, Christina Lynn Turner and her husband Steve of Pine Mountain; brother, Terry Lee Fowler; sisters, Betty Jean Frady, Annie Jo Fowler, Wanda Sue McDougal, Phyllis Tarver and Bonnie Inez Fowler; grandchildren, Devin Fowler (Haley), Kelli Fowler, Debra Turner and Steve Turner; great grandchild, Trenton Fowler; extended family and friends.

Okalee Daniel

Mr. Okalee Daniel, age 80, of LaGrange, GA passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Hospice LaGrange. He was born October 21, 1935 in Franklin, GA to the late Sam Lee Daniel and Willie Nixon Daniel. Mr. Daniel worked for a number of years as a Custodian at First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange. Survivors include his daughter, Hilda E. Daniel; son, Timothy Lee Daniel; other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Monday, March 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Hillview Cemetery.
