Deborah Darden

Deborah Darden, age 67, of Lagrange, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at her home. Deborah was born December 2, 1950 in Langdale, Alabama to the late Charles Irvin Foster and Mary Lousie Bassett Foster. Deborah is survived by her husband, Michael Darden; son Jeremy Colton Darden; daughter, Tracy Lynn Tyler; son, David Wayne Longshore; and Michael C. Darden; sister, Irvilene and Larry Stribling, Belinda Griffin, Nadia Foster; brothers, Chuck Foster and Curtis Foster; very special friends, Sandy and Harold Cook. A gathering of family and friends was held Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary LaGrange Chapel. A celebration of life service was Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel Rev. Dan Akins officiated. Burial followed at Restlawn Memory Gardens.



 Leah Denise Payno

Leah Denise Payno, of LaGrange, passed away on August 28, 2018 at the WellStar West GA Health. She was born to Mr. James Payno and Mrs. Temetria Randall of LaGrange. Survivors include her sisters, Lauren Payno, Ahmari Payno; grandparents, Tria Randall, Sharon Payno; extended family and friends. A memorial will be held at a later date.



Mr. Keith Brumbeloe

Mr. Keith Brumbeloe, 50, of LaGrange passed away Monday night at his home. Keith was born William Keith Brumbeloe September 3, 1968 in LaGrange the son of the late William Seril & Mrs. Reba Frances Smith Brumbeloe. He was an accomplished Welder having trained many in the fine art of Welding. He currently was an instructor for Kia at their manufacturing facility. Survivors include: 3 Daughters: Reba Brumbeloe, LaGrange, GA, Hannah Alexis Brumbeloe, LaGrange, Amber Alexander, 2 Brothers and One Sister-in-law: Danny Neese, Phoenix City, Alabama, Mike and Lisa Neese, LaGrange, GA, Fiancée’: Joy Hester, West Point, GA, a number of nieces and nephews, Funeral Services for Mr. Keith Brumbeloe will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday from the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with The Reverend Ellis Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home (Friday) evening from 6 until 8 PM. nterment will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.


Mr. Chester Lee Brown

Mr. Chester Lee Brown, 85, of LaGrange passed away Tuesday at Twin Fountains Home. Mr. Brown was born July 31, 1933 in Randolph County Alabama, the son of the late Bernice & Mrs. Mary Fowler Brown. He was retired from the Kex and Unity Plants of Milliken and Company having been a previous employee of Callaway Mills Company. Chester was a United States Air Force Veteran. Mr. Brown was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Wade Brown in April 2016. Survivors include: Daughter and Son-i-law: Cindy and Mark Geiger, Valley, Alabama
Son: Steven Brown, LaGrange, GA, 4 Grandchildren: Haley, Brittany, Jacob and Christi
5 Great Grandchildren. Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Chester Lee Brown was held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday from the Meadoway Gardens Cemetery The Reverend Charles Greathouse officiated. The family received friends at the funeral home (Thursday) afternoon from 2:30 P.M. until 3:30 PM at the funeral home.

Glenda Boyd Anderson

Glenda Boyd Anderson was born July 3, 1951 in LaGrange, Georgia to the late, Jessie Mae Boyd and Charlie Truitt. She attended East Depot High School. Glenda joined Central Baptist Church at an early age. She was employed as a cook at many different restaurants. Glenda was loved by many people and was always unapologetically herself. She was very open and opiniated, her favorite phrase was “Null Guh” and whatever came to mind, came out. On Saturday, September 1, 2018, in the early morning, Glenda departed this life at her home in LaGrange. Georgia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Hubbard; sister, Stephanie Boyd; niece, TarVanisha Boyd; and cousin, Rosie Mae Boyd. She is survived by her only son, Roderick (Chantris) Boyd, Sr.; one granddaughter, Adrian (OJ) Joof; two grandsons:  Roderick Boyd, Jr. and Corrodo Williams; three great grandchildren:  Aminah Joof, King Joof, and Ameerah Joof ; one brother, Scottie (Gail) Boyd; three sisters, her twin, Linda (Donnie) Davis, Chelle (Larry) Dudley; and Linda Johnson; special niece, Shureka Davis; special nephew, Demoton Boyd; special great niece and nephew, Azariyah Davis and Antarious Hills; special family, Voncile Epps, Susie Peterson, Holly Gilger, special friends, Courtney McCamey, Tae-Tae, and Demp; and a host of niece, nephews, cousins, family, and friends whom loved her dearly.
