 Mrs. Frankie Ventora Williams Mickle

Mrs. Frankie Ventora Williams Mickle, age 81, of West Point, passed away on October 1, 2018 at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  Mrs. Mickle was born on February 7, 1937 in Heard County to the late Willie Williams and Bessie Pearce Veal.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie “Sam” Mickle and a brother Elvin “Punk” Williams. Survivors include her son, Ronnie Lee Mickle (Deborah Jean); daughter, Brenda Diane Cofield; brother, Eddie Veal (Joyce); sister, Elaine Shelnutt; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy McLeroy and Rev. Jim Butler officiating.  Interment followed at Meadow Gardens.  Family received friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 2:00 until service hour.

 Mr. William “Bill” Leroy Frampton

Mr. William “Bill” Leroy Frampton, 52 of LaGrange passed away Monday evening, October 1, 2018 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Frampton was born October 14, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland the son of the late George and Carol Slone Frampton. Bill was a tech for Tech Specialist, Inc. of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by daughters, Rebecca “Rae” Allen and Tiffany Frampton. Survivors include his Wife, Sue Frampton, LaGrange, Georgia; Children, Katie Patterson, Newnan, Georgia, Jonathan Allen, Columbus, Georgia, Lindsey Cofield, LaGrange, Georgia, Brianna Allen, LaGrange, Georgia, Timothy Frampton, LaGrange, Georgia, Jonah Frampton, LaGrange, Georgia; Corey Jacker, Baltimore, Maryland; Grandson, Little Corey Jacker; Siblings, Catherine Hanson, Raymond Frampton. Janet Houck, Leroy Frampton, Christopher Frampton, James Sawyer, Ronnie Frampton, Noah Frampton, Amber Frampton, Deanna Frampton, and Jason Frampton. Funeral Services for Mr. Bill Frampton will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday morning, October 5, 2018 from the chapel of Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with the Reverend Josh Rhye and Reverend Randy Rhye officiating.  Interment will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery. The family received friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 pm.

 Miss Holly Rakestraw

Miss Holly Rakestraw, 33, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018, at her home.
Born December 20, 1984, in Newnan, Holly was a lifelong resident of Coweta and Troup counties. She was a 2004 graduate of East Coweta High School, was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church in Newnan, loved to watch wrestling, and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. She courageously fought brain tumor from the age of nine and never complained. Survivors include her mother, Teresa Rakestraw of Hogansville; father, David Rakestraw of Franklin; brother and sister in-law, Marcus and Lauren Rakestraw of Franklin; and nephews, Dylan, Noah, Payton and Jackson. The funeral service was conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Barney Howard and the Reverend Rick Duncan officiated and interment was in the Sargent Cemetery.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night.
