Hometown Family Medicine Holds Ribbon Cutting And Grand Opening
Here in LaGrange and Troup County, there are several world class services and attractions that make it the perfect place to live or raise a family. From the excellent schools to the beautiful and historical parts of the city, there truly is not a better place that you and your loved ones could call home. In addition to all of those wonderful reasons to make this place your home, you could also add top notch and personable health care to that list. This past Thursday, October 27 saw just that when Hometown Family Medicine opened its doors.
Hometown Family Medicine is a local new business that is owned and operated by true locals from our own community that want to give back and support their hometown. C.T. Alford, MD, Nicole Crane, PA-C, Erin Meeks, MD, and C.J. Tumambing, MD comprise the crew at Hometown and along with their dedicated staff, they are serving patients and offering smiles all around.
It is a great new local business but it’s truly is more than that. These are doctors that you have known your whole life and that are known for giving the best care possible to their patients. In addition to the new Hometown Family Medicine location at 1698 Vernon Road, the site of the old Parmer Brother’s store, there are also additional plans for the back lot of the store. Behind Hometown, there will be a new location for the Medicine Cabinet, your local owned pharmacy. This new location will be complete with a coffee shop as well.
On that Thursday afternoon, the staff at Hometown, members of their families, and representatives of the La-Grange/Troup County Chamber of Commerce was all on hand to open this wonderful new business and host their grand opening where they were able to show off the new facility, a facility that has 16 exam rooms and a lovely, spacious waiting area.
Page Estes of the Chamber spoke her welcoming words as she always does and Mayor Jim Thornton spoke to the group as well. After all of the pleasantries, the ribbon was officially cut and now Hometown Family Medicine is here to stay and serve our citizens faithfully with the best care possible.
