Clearview Baptist Church Holds Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Celebration
Easter is almost here and churches all across the country are preparing to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. All of the Easter egg hunts and church services are being planned and families are pulling close for a time of togetherness. This past week, Clearview Baptist Church held their annual egg hunt and festival with people flocking to the church for an afternoon of fun with all of their friends and families. The Easter egg hunt at Clearview Baptist started in 2005 and has grown tremendously since then. Treatfilled eggs were scattered around the property, the Easter Bunny sat in the gym to greet kids, and people were conversing all around. This free event was open to the public and saw many kids leave with smiles on their faces.
Clearview has received a lot of attention lately with the new school building under construction right down the road. After this past school year, Whitesville Road Elementary School shut its door, giving parents and children a need for a new school. The school board had already approved the construction of a new school on South Davis Road, right down the street from Clearview Baptist. The new school will be named Clearview Elementary School, named after the church.
