Marjorie “Margie” Catherine Kagey
Mrs. Marjorie “Margie” Catherine Kagey, 82, of LaGrange, GA passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at LaGrange Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Kagey was born July 17, 1935 in Mount Jackson, VA, daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Lineweaver and Blanche Irene Kibler Lineweaver. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Seaford, DE. Mrs. Kagey worked for a number of years with the Cafeteria Staff at West Seaford Elementary in Delaware. While in Delaware, she also served as a Volunteer for the Blades Fire Department and as President of the Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Kagey; and six siblings. Survivors include her children, Kathie (Bob) Jones of Franklin, GA, Robert (Barbara) Kagey of Blades, DE, Sandra (Bill) Brown of Columbus, GA, Ken (Sherrie) Kagey of Franklin, GA; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; siblings, Donald Lineweaver, Emmitt Lineweaver, Alger (Betty) Lineweaver, Mazie Halterman, Helen Hughes, Hilda (Larry) Specht and Edna Rich. The Gathering of Family and Friends was held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service was at 10:30am Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. Burial followed at Restlawn Memory Gardens.

Annie Clyde Heard Rogers
Annie Clyde Heard Rogers was born May 4, 1943 to the late Rev. and Mrs. Frank and Lela Heard in Troup County, Georgia. She became a Christian at a very early age at Valley Grove Baptist Church. She sang in the Choir at Valley Grove and Richerson Chapel Church. She read her Bible daily and loved gospel singing. Annie graduated from Ethel W.Kight High School, Class of 1961. Her favorite pastime was watching the Atlanta Braves. Annie also enjoyed playing softball. Annie was a member of the “Merrie Maiden” Social Club (A Democrat).
The memories we have of “The Boss”: Miss Ann Redell was her baby until the twins came along. Carey took his place, she thought she was momma even naming the twins, then came Shannon, the love of her life, her daughter. On Friday, June 22, 2018; Annie passed away at WellStar West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange, Georgia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Sanford Heard and Donald Heard. She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Shannon Rogers; sister, Frankie (Charlie) Daniel, Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Willie A. Heard, LaGrange, GA; Grady Lee, Atlanta, GA: aunt, Ruby Wilkins, Ypsilanti, MI; one sister-in-law: Doretha Heard, Tuskegee, AL; special nieces and caregivers: Donna and Carla; special friend, Cynthia Garrett; and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, 1:00 PM, Valley Grove Baptist Church

Larry “Trick” Fitzpatrick
Mr. Larry “Trick” Fitzpatrick was born May 19, 1955 to the late, Marion “Dick” Fitzpatrick, Sr. and Ola Climmie Estes Fitzpatrick in Troup County, Georgia. He was employed by Milliken and Company for thirty-four years until his illness caused his disability. Larry was well known and cared for throughout the LaGrange and surrounding communities. On the morning of Sunday, June 24, 2018; Larry passed away at his home in LaGrange, Georgia. He leaves to cherish his memories, one sister, Mary Fitzpatrick, LaGrange, GA; two brothers: Marion (Frances) Fitzpatrick, Jr., LaGrange, GA and Ronald (Patrice) Fitzpatrick, Fayetteville, NC; his long-time friend and companion, Josie Rosser and her family, LaGrange, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. The Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, June 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home. Rev. James Woods will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.
The family will be at their home at 1304 Park Avenue and 230 Bell Street.
