Another Duo Charged with Felony Shoplifting

LaGrange Police have charged yet another pair of shoplifters who allegedly worked together to steal high-dollar items from Home Depot.

Davis was found to be in possession of the stolen electrical pouch, valued at $29.98, and a receipt from another transaction, which she advised she was going to attempt to use for a fraudulent return.

All of the items taken during the incident were recovered.

Breland and Davis were then placed under arrest for the incident and taken into custody. During a search to arrest, Breland was found to be in possession of a glass smoking device that contained an amount of residue believed to be methamphetamine.

As a result of the investigation, Breland, age 27, and Davis, age 33, were arrested and transported to the Troup County Sheriff’s Office, where they were charged with Felony Theft by Shoplifting – More than $500.

Breland was additionally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
