Mary Kathleen Brewer Copeland
Mary Kathleen Brewer Copeland, was born July 30, 1970 in Troup County, Georgia; one of four children born to the late, Willie Frances Brewer. She graduated from LaGrange High School, Class of 1991. To know, love, and remember Mary, everyone will remember her as a strong, loving, caring person; and a great loving mother and fighter. Our days have been brightened by her smile and loving personality. On Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at WellStar West Georgia Hospice; God called our beloved Mary Kathleen Brewer Copeland home. Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memories are two loving children: Jeremiah Copeland and MaKayla Copeland; her father, Jerry Broughton; five siblings, Tomekia Brewer, Patrick Breer, LaQuada Brewer, Brandon Taylor, and Corey Taylor; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. The Celebration of Life Service was held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.

Lee Wesley Barron
Lee Wesley Barron, 85, of Hogansville, GA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 16, 2019. Mr. Barron was born August 5, 1934 in Sargent Georgia, to the late Charlie Lee Barron and Etta Stitcher Barron. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Lloyd Barron. He is survived by his son, William (Alana) Barron; daughters Linda (David) Clay and Lisa (Delane Hill) Barron along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Barron proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. As a Platoon Sargent in the Infantry Division, his heroic leadership and dedicated service earned him many awards which included the Korean Campaign Recognition, the Vietnam Unit Citation for his work with the civilians of South Vietnam, and the distinguished Bronze Star with a Combat V. In 1973, he retired with 21 years of honorable service. A Graveside Services were held 2:00 P.M Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Meriwether Memory Gardens in Manchester, GA. The gathering of family and friends was held Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.

Marie Elaine Dalton
Marie Elaine Dalton, 62, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Ms. Dalton was born May 11, 1957, in Point Pleasant, NJ, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Strickland Dalton. A resident of Georgia since 1984, she was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in LaGrange and had been employed as a customer service representative. Marie enjoyed helping others, was very empathetic and pleasant, and would always volunteer for a good cause, especially for any activity associated with St. Peter’s. She loved the holidays and was a single mother who did an excellent job of raising her son. Survivors include her son, Joshua Dalton of LaGrange; her longtime companion, Stephen Coratti of LaGrange; sisters, Frances and Robert Johnson of Hogansville, Elizabeth Shirey and Bobby Marcum of Shiloh, Lauraleah and John Stroud of Shelton, CT; brothers, Joseph Dalton, Daniel Dalton and Donna Wallace all of Warm Springs, Timothy and Bonnie Dalton of LaGrange; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial mass will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in LaGrange, with the rosary at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
