UGA to Host Webinar for Small Business Owners
To address the economic impact of COVID-19, the University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Center will host a webinar for the region’s small business owners on June 2 at 9:00 a.m. The webinar is designed to equip small business owners with the information and tools they need to succeed in the post-COVID19 environment.
In the webinar, attendees will learn how to re-write their business plans, as well as their financial and communication strategies, to combat challenges posed by COVID-19. The webinar will also focus on resources that small businesses can utilize to succeed in the current economic landscape.
UGA’s SBDC will host separate webinars for each Georgia region. Troup County small business owners are classified under Region 4 and will have a chance to contact both their regional GDEcD and DCA representatives and their SBDC team.
Those wishing to attend must pre-register at no cost at georgiasbdc.org/aftercovid- 19-pivot by clicking on the “After COVID-19, Ways to Pivot Your Business to Succeed – Region 4” link. Following registration, the necessary Zoom information will be sent out to registered businesses. Additionally, once each session is complete, PowerPoint and FAQs will be made available to businesses in attendance.
