A Message to Our Readers

At Troup County News, we are honored to be your hometown local newspaper. We strive to provide our Troup County friends and neighbors with top-quality news and service—from West Point to LaGrange to Hogansville.

For us, being a hometown newspaper is more than a slogan. Most of our staff was born and raised right here in Troup County; we’ve been here with you through the good—and the bad. Local issues that affect you also affect us, and we join our readers and fellow Troup County neighbors in doing our part to give back to the community.

That’s why we remain committed to providing a top-quality newspaper to our county three times a week at economical rates. Our yearly rates are only a fraction of what some competitors charge per quarter and include a number of unique benefits:

  • Premium Carrier Delivery Service – We have our own dedicated team of carriers to make home deliveries. This means reliable delivery times and no waiting on the post office!
  • Special Editions – We offer high-quality special editions three times a year, including a graduation edition, a football edition, and a Christmas edition. These editions typically sell for $3 a copy—but are included for free to our subscribers.
  • Print and Digital Access – Never miss a story with our convenient print and digital access. With Troup County News, all of our stories are published in our print edition three times a week—on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. A corresponding online edition is also available.
  • Legal Advertisements – We are the legal organ for Troup County and bring legal advertisements to you EVERY Friday at no additional cost!

We stand with the Troup County community during these difficult times and are proud to say we are offering our same great service and paper three times a week—just as we were before the pandemic. We also extend a special thank you to all of our readers and subscribers who have shown us support over the years and during the pandemic.

Thank you!
