Republican incumbent Senator Kelly Loeffler issued a statement on Wednesday regarding domestic abuse allegations against her opponent Democrat Raphael Warnock. In police body cam footage from March released by Tucker Carlson of Fox News, Warnock’s ex-wife Ouleye accuses Warnock of running over her foot during a dispute.

“I barely moved, and all of a sudden she’s screaming that I ran over her foot,” Warnock can be heard telling officers in the released footage. “But I don’t believe it.”

As reported by Fox News, Warnock was not charged in the incident, and Ouleye’s medical exam revealed no obvious indication of being run over, such as “redness, bruising, or broken bones.” Medical professionals also say that she was able to wiggle her toes when evaluated.

“This man’s running for United States Senate, and all he cares about right now is his reputation,” Ouleye tells officers in the released footage.

Visibly shaken, Ouleye continues to lay out troubling allegations, her words seeming to suggest that the current Democrat candidate for US Senate has a history of problematic behavior.

“I work at the mayor’s office, and this is a big problem,” she said. “I’ve been trying to be very quiet about the way that he is for the sake of my kids and his reputation … I’ve tried to keep the way that he acts under wraps for a long time, but today he crossed the line.”

Ouleye then breaks down.

“So, that’s what’s going on here,” she says, appearing to fight back tears. “And he’s a great actor. He is phenomenal at putting on a really good show.”

In her statement, Loeffler said that Ouleye’s voice “deserves to be heard.”

“Raphael Warnock’s ex-wife Ouleye’s allegations are deeply troubling,” she said. “Domestic abuse is a very serious issue, and this new body cam footage is certainly difficult to watch. Georgians deserve answers to these very serious allegations, and his ex-wife’s voice deserves to be heard.”
