Sheriff James Woodruff Sworn in to Third Term
Troup County Sheriff James Woodruff was sworn in to his third term in office by Probate Judge Debbie Wade on Wednesday, December 23.
It was a special day for Woodruff, who thanked Troup County residents for electing him again on Wednesday.
“Thank you once again to the people of Troup County who helped re-elect me to this office for another four years,” Woodruff said in a statement. “I and my staff look forward to continuing the work that you have come to expect from us.”
Woodruff, who has served Troup County as sheriff for the past eight years, concluded by wishing his constituents a happy holiday season.
“I hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas,” he said.
