The investigation began Friday morning, around 6 a.m., when officers with the LaGrange Police Department were called to the Wendy’s on Lafayette Parkway in reference to an armed robbery.
Police arrived and spoke to employees, who stated a black male ambushed them outside the rear door while preparing to open the restaurant. Employees advised that when they opened the backdoor, an unknown male brandished a firearm and forced them back into the restaurant.
