LaGrange Police are investigating an incident where an unknown suspect entered a woman’s home overnight and stole her purse and car.
Around midnight on Wednesday, officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to the 300 block of Cross Creek Court in reference to reports of a burglary of an occupied dwelling.
Police arrived and spoke to the victim, who stated that an unknown subject entered her residence while she was at home and stole her purse.
The purse reportedly contained the victim’s car keys, along with an undisclosed amount of cash and other identification documents.
The suspect also apparently used the victim’s car keys to steal her car, which she said was missing when she called 911, but strangely, the missing Chrysler 200 was returned before police were able to arrive.
This incident is still under investigation by the LaGrange Police Department Criminal Investigation Section.
