Hogansville Elementary Students Participate in Super Hero Project
This week, students in Mr. Jones’ 4th and 5th grade Discovery class, have been working on a special superhero project.
These students worked in small groups to portray each Troup County School Board member as a superhero in a graphic novel format. These superheroes had special BIG problems to solve that involved the school and students. Some of the problems included: a rogue librarian, toxic slime, a mysterious gas cloud, and several where a strange villain is on the loose.
Mr. Jones said, “This activity was a great way to show our appreciation for all the school board does for us and allows my students to demonstrate their creativity in their writing and artistic skills.”
The posters will be framed and given to each board member during School Board Appreciation Week.
